Vision West ND was incorporated in North Dakota in 2020. In 2021, Vision West ND applied for an IRS 501(c) (3) nonprofit designation. This led to the establishment of a Board of Directors to govern and oversee VWND's activities, laying a foundation for growth and sustainability.
Vision West ND’s Governing Board created Ad Hoc Committees to advance the Priorities for 2026 - 2028. These changes resulted in consolidating 13 priorities from 2018 to 5 in 2025.
