BUSH FOUNDATION GRANTS VISION WEST ND $127,000

The Bush Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2023 ecosystem grants. The grant is aimed at providing operational support to organizations that play a role in addressing regional challenges and fostering collaboration within our communities. The grants help to advance the Foundation's mission to inspire and support creative problem-solving across the region.

Vision West North Dakota, a prominent organization in western North Dakota, has been selected as a grant recipient, receiving $127,000 over three years. This grant equates to $39,000 per year, providing general operations support to advance their mission and bolster the work of their dedicated members. Furthermore, an additional $ 10,000 has been awarded in the first year to promote cultural inclusion policy and practice within Vision WestND, Inc., and its board.

Jackie Statum Allen, Grantmaking Director at the Bush Foundation, expressed her excitement for the 2023 ecosystem grantees when she stated, "We are really excited about our 2023 ecosystem grantees. These grants provide valuable operating funding for organizations. What makes these grants even more important is that the funding supports the organizations that others find most valuable and critical to the success of their own work. We know problem-solving is hard and it can't be done in isolation.” The Bush Foundation aims to inspire and connect individuals to become more effective leaders of change and supports innovative thinking and collaborative efforts, like those at VisionWest ND, to bring about positive transformations.
