The Vision West ND Child Care Committee was created as an ad hoc committee for the purpose of working with the Vision West ND Board of Directors, consortium, and administration. The Committee will work child care facilities, communities, community and elected leaders, the state of ND, and others associated with the child care community to help the Vision West ND region increase and improve its child care facilities The Vision West ND Child Care Committee will work in partnership with Child Care Aware of ND to develop the committee’s objectives.
Scope and Key Objectives
Raise awareness of child care as a viable business and workforce challenge that needs to be supported with a livable wage and benefits.
Provide educational opportunities and resources for communities to assist with new and existing facilities.
Promote child care opportunities for providers and families authorized through ND Legislative action.
