Regional Plans
The final deliverable for this project is the Regional Plan for Sustainable Development. U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recommends that the regional plan conforms to the Livability Principles, a series of six objectives that help communities and regions plan for sustainability over a 20-year period.
The Vision West ND regional planning process will begin at the conclusion of the local community and economic development strategic planning process. The Regional Plan will incorporate a specific housing-related study required by HUD.
